Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Vaaqya, including the desktop app and web dashboard at vaaqya.com ("Service"). By accessing or using Vaaqya you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. The Service

Vaaqya is a desktop application that rewrites AI-generated text to sound more natural and human. It uses credits to process requests. You get 25 free credits on signup; additional credits can be purchased.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use Vaaqya. By using the Service you represent that you meet this requirement and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.

3. Account

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account. Login codes are sent to your email — do not share them. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at team@vaaqya.com if you suspect unauthorised access.

4. Credits and payments

• Credits are consumed when you use Humanify (1 credit), Humanify with Vision (3 credits), or Generate (1 credit).
• Free credits (25 on signup) are non-transferable and have no cash value.
• Purchased one-time credit packs do not expire.
• Monthly subscription credits are granted at the start of each billing cycle and do not roll over to the next month.
• All payments are processed by Lemon Squeezy. Prices are listed in USD.
• Credits are non-refundable once consumed. Unused purchased credits may be refunded within 7 days of purchase — contact team@vaaqya.com.
• We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to use Vaaqya to:

• Generate or distribute spam, disinformation, or deceptive content
• Violate any applicable law or regulation
• Infringe the intellectual property rights of others
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or abuse the Service
• Use the Service in any way that could harm Vaaqya or other users

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules without refund.

6. Intellectual property

The Vaaqya name, logo, and software are owned by Vaaqya. The text you input and the humanized output belong to you. We claim no ownership over your content.

7. AI-generated output

Vaaqya uses Google Gemini to process text. Output may occasionally be inaccurate, inappropriate, or inconsistent. You are responsible for reviewing and verifying all output before use. We are not liable for any decisions made based on AI-generated content.

8. Disclaimer of warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or meet your specific requirements. Use at your own risk.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Vaaqya shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or data, arising from your use of or inability to use the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 3 months preceding the claim.

10. Termination

You may stop using Vaaqya at any time. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or for any other reason with reasonable notice. Upon termination, your access to the Service will end and unused credits will be forfeited.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. We'll notify you of material changes via email. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of India.
